Insane Ibra!- Zlatan hits ridiculous 500th career goal for Galaxy

Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the only active players with 500 or more senior club and worldwide goals after scoring an eye-catching effort during LA Galaxy's defeat by Toronto.

The outspoken Swedish striker whipped in the goal with a roundhouse kick on the volley from Jonathan dos Santos' pass in the 43rd minute to reach the milestone.

Ibrahimovic, 36, joined the Galaxy at the start of the 2018 season and now has 17 goals in 21 appearances for LA.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a source of some truly spectacular goals while playing in Europe. He has now scored 19 goals in 21 career MLS games.

Speaking afterwards, Sweden's all-time leading scorer with 62 goals told reporters: "I am happy for Toronto because they will be remembered as my 500th victim".

The goal helped spark a comeback for the Galaxy, who were 3-0 down to the Toronto FC at the time. "It reminds me of a goal I did in Ajax", he said.

"I don't know how many have scored 500 goals in their career, but I am one of them and if would feel nicer if we win the game but still, I did it so there is nothing I will hide from".

The striker now plies his trade in the USA after playing for an array of elite clubs in Europe such as Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG and Manchester United, chalking up goals that brought him a championship title in nearly every league he's played in.
