However, claims that Meghan has cleared her diary conflicts with the royal couples planned trip to New Zealand next month.

At one point during her rant Samantha proclaimed that the Duchess of Sussex "wasn't much different than Trump" - clearly failing to see the irony that it was her, not Meghan, coming up with Trump-esque insults on Twitter.

Taking to Twitter, Samantha wrote: "I am not candy coating anything anymore! The DUCHA- should be humane to our father who has given her everything... and this media crap can stop!"

She further added, "He was the one who was always there for her. Fake waves and smiles can stop. The ducha** can bow to the daddy".

In the series of bitter tweets, Ms. Markle wrote: "She owes my father a lot of love and respect. She has an obligation especially to treat our father with kindness".

"What is at issue is the kind treatment of our dad". I know her smile. I don't like the one I'm seeing now.

"Given that Meghan's family is far away and that her girlfriends are mostly in America, or far away as well, then I think Kate will be a nice support moving forward".

"This one isn't even a stage smile - this is a pained smile".
