Roundup Kyrie Irving to Harvard Business School Volleyball Team vs. Nike & College Football Player Has Foot Amputated

Hayward said he gained a lot of confidence from watching the team compete last season, so he's eager to finally join them on the floor.

With training camp set to begin in under two weeks - and the team's first preseason game scheduled for September 28 - Hayward said he's not completely 100 percent basketball-wise, though he's getting close.

He said he isn't 100 percent in terms of basketball ability but is getting there.

"The last step for me, as far as from a physical standpoint, is the little explosion, that little last juice, bounce that you get".

It's going to take some time for Gordon Hayward to shake off the rust that comes with missing all but five minutes of last season. "They have made it absolutely crystal clear to me that-if they had their pick of guys that are going to be in the free-agent market summer-Kyrie would be their first, second, third and fourth choice". Aside from losing Hayward for essentially the entire 2017-18 season, star guard Kyrie Irving missed the final 15 games of the 2017-18 season and the entire playoffs to fix his left knee. "I've been playing with some of them these last two weeks, and we have a lot of talent on this team".

Hayward told reporters he is overall happy to be back in the mix with his Boston teammates and is looking forward to the forthcoming season. Hayward says he plans to fully utilize the next month to get back into game shape. So, when I play out here with my teammates, when we get into practice situations, that's going to be the best. The Celtics had a 2-0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference finals, but squandered it and lost the series in seven games.
