The former "Emmerdale" actress is expected to take a seat on the Channel 4 show in 2019, after she falsely accused ex-'Coronation Street" star Ryan Thomas of punching her in the "Celebrity Big Brother' house recently, only to back-track on her comments and admit she "got it wrong".

The actor beat USA actress Kirstie Alley to win the Channel 5 show in Monday night's live final. When she was in the house the actress accused Ryan of deliberately hurting her with a punch, which viewers defended as play-fighting.

However she later quit the house and admitted she was wrong after seeing Ryan's devastation.

She said: "Luckily, she was only there for four days". I certainly didn't know for 48 hours. I think she's got a lot to deal with at the moment and so have I.

Kirstie was also shown the footage of the incident and responded with incredulity.

He explained: "As it unravelled, as it became bigger and bigger, the thing that scared me the most was when Ben (Jardine) told me she couldn't stay in the room with me because she was scared. Amazing! The best headline I've ever heard".

The star admitted she had struggled to adjust to the house at first, thinking she was "going to go mad" on the third day, but was now keen to return to the United Kingdom for more work opportunities.

She asked for Ryan to be removed from the house before being allowed to sleep in a separate bedroom.

"I did break", said Thomas.

While talking about the incident, he was grilled over whether he would meet up with Roxanne for "a cup of tea" to hash out their issues, however he ruled out the meeting and admitted his focus was seeing his daughter Scarlett. It's just a bit unusual. You just want your friends and your loved ones with you when something like that happens.

'There's no element of time and the boredom. everything is heightened. However, after Thomas left the Big Brother house victorious, he's said that he thinks it's time to forgive Pallett. It's time we look forward.

But he added: "It's not that I don't want to see her again, I've got a daughter I want to see, she is not my first priority".

"I think that Roxanne's been through a lot".
