Apple iPhone Xs vs iPhone X: Here's what is different

Apple posted a video on YouTube titled "Shot on iPhone XS" that gives us a taste of what video on the iPhone XS actually looks like.

Apple's new iPhone XS, pronounced "ten S", has a 5.8-inch (14.7-cm) screen, and will be sold at a starting price of $999. For all that huge screen on the iPhone X, the case isn't truly that much bigger than that of the iPhone SE.

The iPhone Xs and iPhone XR come with NFC with reader mode functionality just like previous iPhones from Apple.

The iPhone X was unveiled only a year ago and it went on sale in November 2017. This was the reason Apple went for a cheaper LCD panel and a single camera for the iPhone XR. On the iPhone Xs and iPhone XR though, users can simply wake their iPhone and tap the NFC tag against their phone.

The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were unveiled in 2015 and it was evident Apple would kill the handset sooner or later. The iPhone SE was a high selling model in developing markets due its cheaper price. However, the iPhone SE - Apple's only offering with a compact 4-inch display, also failed to make the cut to 2018 range.

The iPhone Xs has the same dimensions as the older phone but is 3 grams heavier with weight of 177 grams.

Apple also introduced a fourth generation of the Apple Watch with a major redesign - and a series of features created to improve its performance as a medical and health device. The iPhone 7 now starts at £449/$449, and the 7 Plus at £569/$569.
