Trump allegedly said if the Prime Minister attempted to maintain strong ties with the European Union then a trade deal with the USA would be unlikely.

"We agreed today that as the United Kingdom leaves the European Union we will pursue an ambitious USA -U.K. trade deal", May said Friday at a news conference with Trump at Chequers, her country estate.

"I predicted Brexit. I was cutting a ribbon for the opening of Turnberry - you know they totally did a whole renovation, it is attractive - the day before the Brexit vote", Trump said.

Trump then heads to Windsor Castle later Friday for tea with Queen Elizabeth II.

Tens of thousands of protesters lined the streets of London, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol to protest the visit of the American president but it is thought there will be more as he jets north. "Right now we're going to be talking about some things taking place in the Middle East and elsewhere".

But on Tuesday, as the first couple crossed the South Lawn of the White House to board Marine One, Trump held Melania's hand firmly. The band of the Coldstream Guards played the Star-Spangled Banner and she invited the president to inspect the guard of honour. Trump is technically on a lower-level working visit this week.

President Trump on Thursday blasted London Mayor Sadiq Khan as soft on terrorism and regretted that he's been made to feel "unwelcomed" in the British capital.

In the piece, Trump gave May advice on how to handle the exit from the European Union and said he "would have done it much differently".

Eric Trump called the report "fake news", but Dodson said he presented the president's son's remarks accurately.

A big part of the protests against Trump is the aforementioned giant Trump Baby, a 20ft orange blimp depicting the world leader as a crying baby - something that's clearly hurt his feelings.

Khan said pro-Trump supporters would march on Saturday, although some were present on Friday, separated from the main demonstration by police. "I think they agree with me on immigration", he said, also reminding reporters that his mother was from Scotland, which he plans to visit after his official meetings in England.

"Whatever you do is OK with us, just make sure we can trade together, that's all that matters. As he said in his interview with The Sun she is a very good person and he never said anything bad about her", Sanders said.

"It is disgusting to hear the inflammatory language that he uses and I am embarrassed that (Prime Minister) Theresa May has done so much to welcome him".

Melania Trump visited veterans on Friday at London's Royal Hospital Chelsea where she also met local school children, accompanied by May's husband Philip. "But Boris Johnson, I think would be a great Prime Minister".

"And unfortunately there was a story that was done, which was generally fine, but it didn't put in what I said about the prime minister, and I said tremendous things".
