Stormy Daniels arrested after strip club performance in Ohio lawyer

Last month, the Sirens Gentlemen's Club posted on its website that Daniels was scheduled to perform there Wednesday and Thursday.

Just rcvd word that my client @StormyDaniels was arrested in Columbus Ohio whole performing the same act she has performed across the nation at almost a hundred strip clubs.

An Ohio law known as the Community Defence Act prohibits anyone who isn't a family member to touch a nude or semi-nude dancer.

The patron is not believed to have been detained. In addition to restricting the hours in which such businesses can operate - nude dancing is prohibited after midnight, for instance - the law banned touching between patrons and dancers, whether they be nude or seminude. "She was arrested for allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while on stage in a non sexual manner!" He went on to allege it was a politically motivated arrest. "It reeks of desperation", his tweet said.

Avenatti said Daniels will be charged with a misdemeanor and expects her to be released on bail. "We will fight all bogus charges", Avenatti wrote. He said his client was "performing the same performance that she has conducted at over a hundred strip clubs around the country".

Dailymail.com reached out to Sirens who refused to comment.

While President Trump is in Belgium for the NATO Summit, his alleged former mistress Stormy Daniels is behind bars.

Daniels has said she had sex with Trump in 2006 and that Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid her $130,000 to keep the encounter secret shortly before the presidential election. But according to a Columbus Dispatch article published in September, 2017, the law has rarely been used.
