PRINCESS Charlotte issued a cheeky remark to royal snappers as she stole the show for the second time today at Prince Louis' christening.

BBC reports that Middleton was overheard saying Louis was "very relaxed and peaceful", and joked to the archbishop that she hopes "he stays like this".

Pelly, who attended the christening with his wife Lizzy, is perhaps best known for accompanying Princes William and Harry in livelier days on the London nightclub scene, and has previously said he is now "leaving it to the next generation".

The duke and duchess have always emphasized their desire for their children to have normal lives, rather than "growing up behind palace walls". It was hand-made in 2008 by Angela Kelly, the Dressmaker to the Queen.

The little prince was also christened in the Lily Font, a silver gilt font and bowl decorated in lilies, ivy and cherubs.

Following the service, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held a private tea at Clarence House where guests were served slices of cake from a tier of Kate and William's wedding cake. His recent work includes not only Louis' siblings christenings, but he officiated the high-profile royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
