Rohit Sharma becomes second player to score three T20I centuries

This innings was a pure joy to watch. That contest is notable because India were 1-0 down, and came back to win the series 2-1.

In the bowling department, unlike first match, Bowlers failed to impress. Do you all agree?

Congratulating India on their win, Tendulkar further tweeted, "Perfect weather. flawless conditions and a ideal result for #TeamIndia".

Sharma became only the second Indian to pass 2,000 runs in this format as India chased down their target of 199 with eight balls and seven wickets to spare.

K.L. Rahul (19) then made his way into the crease and joined Rohit to play some glorious shots to keep the required run rate under check and the scoreboard ticking. India reached the 50-run mark in just under five overs.

Skipper Virat Kohli held the batsman responsible for their defeat against the hosts in the previous match and felt that they were short of 10-15 runs.

Kohli also admitted that losing three wickets in quick succession is a hard task for other batsman to recover, and in the decider match the batsman need to pull up their socks.

It was also important to remain calm and not panic, Rohit pointed out.

Alex Hales smashed a six and a four in the final over bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar to lead England to a thrilling series-tying 5-wicket victory against India in the second Twenty20. Earlier in the day, England scored a competitive 198 in their allotted 20 overs.

While there was some early swing on offer at Bristol for the Indian bowlers, it wasn't enough to deter England's openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler. The English batters began quite brilliantly with Jason Roy smashing the Indian bowlers all around the mark.

Chahar bowled a superb slower ball to spoil Roy's timing, only to feather an edge to wicketkeeper star MS Dhoni. Rohit Sharma played throughout the innings in the decider hitting boundaries at will in the powerplay. He dismissed Alex Hales, Eoin Morgan, the returning Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow all after conceding 22 off his first over.

Kohli was left in disbelief when he drove a delivery straight back to Jordan, who took a catch at waist height, but Pandya picked up where the captain had left off. Pacer Umesh Yadav was the only sucessful bowling, scalping two wickets.

The series win also set the right tone for the gruelling challenges ahead with the three-match ODI series, up next, starting from July 12.
