While we have only seen two trailers, it looks like Rami Malek is going to deliver a fantastic performance, and could possibly even get an Oscar nomination.

The trailer also addresses Mercury's sexuality, showing a press conference in which a journalist asks, "Freddie, concerning your private life".

"Roger, there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen." Ha!

Bohemian Rhapsody is co-directed by Bryan Singer and Dexter Fletcher from a screenplay by Anthony McCarten. The film will follow the band's incredible rise from obscurity to superstardom and in particular Mercury's own life as he leaves the band in pursuit of a solo career and is eventually diagnosed with AIDS. While bravely facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. "In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that was always more like a family and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers, and music lovers to this day". What comes from that effort is a discography of classics, from the movie's namesake "Bohemian Rhapsody" to later hits "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions".

See the trailer below for the film also starring Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers.

If the trailer is anything to go by, the film looks like an inspirational and rousing ode to Mercury and his former Queen bandmates.

Freddie Mercury, who is played by Rami Malek in the film, is without a doubt the focus of the film's first official trailer.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" will hit theatres on November 2.
