'NCIS: Los Angeles' Star Linda Hunt in Hollywood Car Crash

Oscar-winning actress Linda Hunt was reportedly hospitalized on Monday after being involved in a vehicle accident.

Hunt, 73, was driving a black BMW SUV which collided with a auto and another SUV while the actress she was making a left turn, according to TMZ. The 73-year-old was said to be visibly shaken following the accident and witnesses helped her to a lawn chair on the sidewalk.

After paramedics arrived, they determined that Linda should be hospitalized due to her injuries, although the extent of her injuries are not known. The witness tells us the other drivers only suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash was under investigation, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

When TMZ tried to inquire about her condition, her reps didn't return their call.


"Los Angeles" star Linda Hunt was hospitalized on Monday following a three-car wreck in Hollywood, a report stated. The traffic delays can make drivers a little more aggressive.

Hunt has been a fixture on 'NCIS, ' appearing in over 200 episodes.

Hunt won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Billy Kwan in 1982 movie The Year of Living Dangerously, her second film role, making her the first person to win an Oscar portraying a character of the opposite sex. "I often go to the guesthouse to practice lines", she shared, "and look at the window of the sunroom and think how pretty it is".
