The royal family, who arrived together at Westminister Abbey looked incredible for the occasion with Duchess Kate opting for a baby blue Alexander McQueen dress, the same designer who created her outfit for Prince Louis' christening yesterday.

The event, held at Glencairn House, had 300 people in attendance, including soccer player Brian O'Driscoll and writer Sinead Burke.

Kate and William don't often engage in public shows of affection (unlike their newlywed counterpart Meghan and Harry), so it's nice to see them sharing an intimate moment in the very place their royal love story began.

Prince William formerly served as an RAF search-and-rescue pilot, while Prince Harry received helicopter training from the RAF during his time in the Army Air Corps.

The visit is their first trip overseas as a married couple, following their wedding in May.

On the accessories front, Meghan carried a black Givenchy clutch, Birks earrings, and Aquazzura shoes. The Duchess also accessorised with gloves, which she could be seen carrying alongside a clutch, all in flawless tonal coordination.

While Meghan opted for a navy, off-shoulder pleated dress, Kate highlighted her svelte figure in a mint-coloured button-up dress.

This evening, Meghan and Harry will attend a garden party at the British Ambassador's residence at Glencairn.

The Duke and Duchess will also visit DogPatch Labs, a co-working space for technology start-ups, where they will meet children and young people taking part in workshops, and talk to female tech entrepreneurs.
