Liverpool transfer rumours: Nabil Fekir, Jack Grealish

Liverpool target to consider offers

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has told RMC Sport that he has no intention of allowing Tottenham Hotspur target Tanguy Ndombele to leave the club this summer.

The France global was on the verge of joining Liverpool in a £60m deal last month, only for a move to break down at the eleventh hour as the Reds wanted to renegotiate his fee.

"Nabil will, I think, be at Lyon next season", he said.

With a deal for Nabil Fekir nowhere close to being completed, journalists, pundits and fans are hanging onto every bit of information that comes to light and Lyon's decision to extend Yassin Fekir's contract is one revelation which has troubled fans.

The Premier League side are still keen on resurrecting the move but Aulas is confident that Fekir will remain at the squad.

France face Belgium in the semi-finals on Tuesday.

Fekir, who is now on World Cup duty with France, has caught the eye of several big clubs after an outstanding season with Lyon where he scored 21 goals in all competitions.

"I have nearly a father-son relationship with my players".

'I gave him the opportunity to go to Liverpool because it was his dream club.

"I did that too with [Corentin] Tolisso and [Samuel] Umtiti".

And the 20-year-old, who has progressed through Lyon's renowned academy since joining the club in 2009, has now penned a new deal until June 2023.

And Klopp has suggested the club's work this summer might not be done yet. 'The work is going on and why should we stop until the window is done?

'What happens on the other side [of the World Cup], we will see'.
