The network unveiled a trailer for its upcoming series "I Am the Night", which looks to follow in the footsteps of "The Alienist", which premiered at the same time earlier this year.

While Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is now hard at work on the film's sequel, she recently took part in a mini-reunion with Gal Godot's co-star, Chris Pine, for a new TNT limited series titled I Am The Night.

The L.A. -set noir drama is based on the book "One Day She'll Darken", which tells the true story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley), a young woman who, after learning she's adopted, uncovers her dark family history that involves Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), an infamous gynecologist connected to the 1947 "Black Dahlia" murder. Some stories will eat you alive'.

Eventually his investigation leads him to Fauna and her dark and risky family lineage. Chris Pine will be playing the role of Jay Singletary, a former Marine who now lives his life as a reporter/paparazzo. As Fauna begins to investigate the unbelievable secrets to her past, she meets a ruined reporter haunted by the case that undid him. That search soon finds her entangled in the Black Dahlia murder case. On top of starring in the series he is also an executive producer.

An exact release date has not been announced yet, but I Am the Night is set to premiere on TNT in January, 2019. The talented roster joining Pine includes India Eisley, Jefferson Mays, Leland Orser, Yul Vazquez, Dylan Smith, Golden Brooks, Justin Cornwell, Jay Paulson and Connie Nielsen.
