"This team, with every performance I've seen in this tournament, it has been controlled and composed".

Police have now confirmed that one of the people - a woman - has been identified.

Several people were photographed atop the ambulance and with their pictures now doing the rounds on social media, it's fair to assume there will be more identifications in the coming days.

On its Twitter page, the London Ambulance Service's joint response unit said: "Obviously we are chuffed with the result this afternoon but there is absolutely no excuse to vandalise emergency service vehicles by jumping on them".

Fans had descended at Clapham Junction and were clapping and cheering when the man made a decision to climb on top of the bus.

A crowd of supporters were also filmed rushing into an Ikea store in Stratford, east London, dancing on the furniture and kicking items around.

"Being both British and Swedish, we were on the edge of our seats during the game and we would like to say 'grattis!' (that's congratulations in Swedish) to the England team for getting through to the semi-finals".

Southgate's men meet Croatia in the semi-finals on Wednesday after ending a 28-year wait just to reach the last four by cruising past Sweden in the quarter-finals.

"And we have to be like that, I think, if we are going to get in the final, so we'll have to perform well and play well."
