A Thanos-Inspired Subreddit is Taking Things to Their Logical Conclusion

With that out of the way, Reddit is going to experience its biggest forum ban ever on July 9th when the moderators of the thanosdidnothingwrong subreddit randomly ban half their members. Just yesterday the subreddit was at 282,000 subscribers.

Spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War lie ahead. As of this writing, there are over 530,000 subscribers with that number expected to climb even higher.

These pieces of concept art give fans an idea of how much work Marvel had put into the production of Avengers: Infinity War to make the film worth remembering. Twitter user Anton Volkov shared a certificate for the German home video release of Infinity War.

The gesture echoes Brolin's fateful finger snap in the well-received blockbuster, where he played archvillain Thanos, a being of great power determined to wipe out half of existence.

Since the Russo Brothers posted the video, which was shortly before 10 AM Pacific time, the initial tweet has gained over 4.6 thousand likes and it's been retweeted over 1,000 times.

If you want to participate, it might do you well to post one yourself. Convinced that removing half the population from the equation in a "fair" random lottery would allow the other half to prosper, the villain's plan isn't exactly rational but you can argue he was at least trying to do the right thing in his own twisted way - and for many that was enough to throw their support behind the Mad Titan. The Thanos Did Nothing Wrong subreddit has not announced if they will follow the story of Avengers 4 and reverse the snap next May. As previously noted, the mass user ban will take place tomorrow, July 9th. Jim Starlin, the dude who created Thanos, spoke to Collider during Comic-Con in Las Vegas and revealed about the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of footage that will be packed for the home video version of the film. It's not clear at what time the recreation of the Infinity War snap will take place, but make sure to have your Reddit notifications turned on to learn your fate.

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
