European Council President Donald Tusk, Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May, Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel, U.S. President Donald Trump, Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, France's President Emmanuel Macron, Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker pose for a family photo at the G7 Summit in the Charlevoix city of La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada, June 8, 2018.

"I think, on trade, there is ... a way to progress all together", he told reporters after his meeting with Trump.

Russian Federation was thrown out of the group in 2014 over the annexation of Crimea. His new tariffs - 25 percent on imported steel and 10 percent on aluminum from Canada, Mexico and the European Union - threaten to drive up prices for American consumers and companies and heighten uncertainty for businesses and investors around the globe.

Theresa May has criticised the tariffs and also opposes Mr Trump's call for Russian Federation to be readmitted to the group of leading industrialised nations.

The recent summit has bared a clear line of difference between Trump and the other leaders of the G7 nations due to the differences in the opinions.

"Please, we will be happy to see everyone in Moscow", Putin said.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping called for the Iran nuclear deal to be "earnestly" implemented as he met the country's president following the USA withdrawal from the pact, state media said Monday. "We have opened both our country and our hearts to the world".

Mr Trump had earlier called for Putin's country to be readmitted to the group in the interest of world politics.

Mr Macron - who has cultivated a close relationship with Mr Trump over recent months - stressed that the USA was isolated.

And since our allies are the ones with whom we have the most significant ties - economic, military, cultural - they're most often the ones who wind up being the target of his ire as he tries to isolate the United States from the world.

In his remarks to reporters on the White House lawn before departing for Canada Friday morning, Trump touched on a wide range of topics. "Everyone agreed, including President Trump".

But the Prime Minister twice refused to say whether she had requested a formal bilateral meeting with Mr Trump.

But, she said "it's an asymmetrical relationship with Russian Federation more dependent on China than vice versa, especially in the economic sphere".

Trump said he had a list of 3,000 names for possible pardon consideration.

Putin has no plans to meet with Kim and Russian Federation has no information on whether the North Korean leader will be in China at the time of the summit, Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters. Trump criticizing the Group of Seven nations host and stepped back from the generally positive tone that had ended the two-day meeting in Quebec.

While denuclearization of the peninsula is "our common final goal", it's understandable that North Korea first requires security guarantees after what happened to the former leaders of Libya and Iraq, Putin said in an interview with China Media Group published Wednesday.
