Devil May Cry 5 has been officially revealed at E3 2018, with Dante going back to his hair color in a crowd-pleasing move.

Ten years after the release of Devil May Cry 4 and five years on from the Ninja Theory developed reboot, Capcom announced Devil May Cry 5 at the Xbox E3 2018 press conference.

Judging by the look of Nero and Dante, the latter of which is looking very old at the moment, this is a direct continuation to 2008's Devil May Cry 4.

In the game, several years have passed and the threat of demonic power is "long since forgotten". This hellish incursion attracts the attention of the young demon hunter, Nero, an ally of Dante who now finds himself without his demonic arm, the source of much of his power.

Longtime game director Hideaki Itsuno is making a return to the series, in what's part of a clear effort from Capcom to reinvigorate the franchise that has excited action fans since the Playstation 2. He's now heading his own branch of the demon-hunting business Devil May Cry.

Devil May Cry 5 will offer players a choice of three characters to choose from, each offering a radically different combat play style.

Devil May Cry 5 is slated for release on Xbox One in Spring 2019, with other platforms still unknown. Let us know in the comments below!
