Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre-Order Details Leak Early

Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption II - will Rockstar be riding with Microsoft or Sony at E3?

"In order to obtain your "GTA$500,000", you'll have to go to the Microsoft store, then search "$500,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online".

The War Horse was also a DLC extra in the first game, and kind of broke the game a bit as there was never really any need to get any other steed. And while these pre-order bonuses can be argued to not to be considered as DLC, it does leave some implication that Take-Two is taking the desire for it very seriously.

Digital pre-orders on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will also gain a "Cash Bonus" for Red Dead 2's Story Mode, giving you enough to buy a new weapon, some food and other useful items for protagonist Arthur Morgan, and a Treasure Map revealing the locations of secret buried treasure in Story Mode.

Most interestingly, however, is the inclusion of rewards for another Rockstar title.

Aside from the game's standard edition, Rockstar will be offering three premium editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, starting with the Special Edition for $79.99. Today, the Xbox storefront pre-order listing for Red Dead Redemption 2 updated with some official information. The "Red Dead Redemption 2: Collector's Box" is available for pre-order at the Rockstar Warehouse and select retailers. However, who knows what else to expect, be it trailers or gameplay.

According to the now removed listing, included with Microsoft Store pre-orders of Red Dead Redemption 2 are several small pieces of DLC.

The Ultimate Edition will also give players access to the online Survivor Camp Theme, access to even more weapons and rank bonuses so that Ultimat players can rank up faster, up to rank 25. Does the inclusion of GTA Online money interest you at all? These include a jigsaw puzzle, a set of themed playing cards, a bandanna, a set of pin badges, a treasure map, a collectible coin, 12 cigarette-style cards and a replica of the in-game "Wheeler, Rawson and Co." catalogue.
