And now Princess Charlotte has won the hearts of everyone again, after appearing to copy her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, on the balcony at Buckingham Palace over the weekend.

As a style icon, Kate Middleton is best known for her picture-perfect A-line dresses, smart suits and the occasional girly detail like a fun print or lace. Upon spotting her great-grandmother doing something different, she quickly changed and began waving at the crowd herself.

But then the youngster spotted her great-grandmother the Queen waving to the crowd and made a decision to follow suit.

Eager to make the most of her moment in the spotlight, she even turned back on the hospital steps to offer a final greeting to the crowds.

George was with his mother Kate watching Prince William in a charity match at the Beaufort Polo Club.

One day after attending Trooping the Colour, Kate Middleton took George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3, to cheer on their dad. "She let them have their head".

Princess Charlotte seems to win new fans during every public appearance with her confident and cheery nature.

It's Harry's then two-year-old cousin, Princess Beatrice.

There was no denying the similarities between the pair.

The previous day, Savannah had told her cousin to be quiet during Trooping the Colour.
