Nintendo kicked off their direct with the debut of Daemon x Machina.

Marvelous's Daemon X Machina, a insane new robot combat game, is headed for Switch.

Shown during the publisher's E3 2018 press conference, the game offers a wide variety of mechs to choose from and an even wider array of different weapons for them to equip. The result looks quite a bit more fast-paced than the usual mech game! The little snippets reminded us partly of the Armored Core series, only on steroids.

A fact sheet bills the mecha game as "from Kenichiro Tsukuda", a Producer from the Armored Core series of Mecha games. Well, this has it all - A new cel-shaded brawling title from developers Marvelous and First Studio.

Other big names of the development team include Junichi Nakatsuru and Ryo Hamamoto producing the music.

What do you make of Daemon X Machina?

As many fans expected, games coming to the Nintendo Switch occupied a great part of Nintendo's E3 press event.
