Beyond Good & Evil 2 Teases Return Of Jade Introduces hitRECord Partnership Brodie Gibbons

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was brought onto the stage and it was revealed that his Hit Record team will be collaborating with Ubisoft to make music for Beyond Good & Evil 2.

There's no word yet on any actual timeframe for the game's release, nor is there any talk of which platforms it will find itself on eventually, so if you intend to stay tuned on this one, you're going to have to wait a little longer, unfortunately. We get a glimpse at some of the pirate crew that will be featured in the game including Pey'j who is back as the cook of the ship along with a few other new characters. There wasn't much word as to the details of her involvement in the sequel, but she seems to be playing a major role in Beyond Good and Evil 2's narrative.

Afterwards, hitRECord will make a demo to send to Ubisoft, which can then incorporate the ideas into the game. Players will actually be able to contribute assets like art and music to be included in Beyond Good and Evil 2 through a new Ubisoft partnership with HitRecord.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is an action-adventure role-playing title that you can experience alone or in co-op. Hopefully we can expect even more from the game at E3 next year, but for now, the stuff Ubisoft has announced offers plenty to unpack.

The game is a prequel set at the end of the 24 century and will see the return of classic characters like Jade and Pey'j. Head down to the comments section to let us know what you think of this latest Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer, and be sure to keep it here at SlashGear for more from E3 2018.
