Shaqiri has made clear he wants to leave Stoke following their relegation to the Championship and new manager Gary Rowett insisted he will not stand in the way of any player who wanted to leave.

Shaqiri, a winger who was impressive with Stoke despite their relegation, is an attractive prospect given his release clause of around £12-14 million. "It's the best league with the best players, but I do not want to exclude anything".
