LeBron might sign with Rockets, former teammate Bosh says

Four-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) LeBron James might be closing in on the twilight of his career but the 33-year-old is still among the hottest names in the upcoming free agency. An ESPN report from a few months ago suggested that James would meet with the Warriors.

The Rockets finished the regular season 65-17.

On Thursday, a day before the Cavaliers try to extend the NBA Finals when they play host to Golden State in Game 4, James praised the Warriors for their basketball IQ.

The Philadelphia 76ers are the best team that can sign a free agent to a max salary contract.

So while the majority of the Sixers sat at home, watching the game and tweeting at James to move East this fall, a pair of Eagles took it upon themselves to take the show to Cleveland, and chat up The King themselves.

At this point, it's basically common knowledge that any team with James on their roster is nearly guaranteed a spot in the NBA Finals, especially if they're in the Eastern Conference, and for a team like the Sixers, with about as much potential as anyone in the NBA, he could be the missing piece to a championship run.

The Cavs won't win a championship this season, and with an aging roster, they won't win another one without a major overhaul.

LeBron James might decide to leave Cleveland after a horrendous spell during this postseason with very little support from his teammates - but Houston, we got a problem. Most fans are already familiar with the LeBron James ties to the Los Angeles Lakers.

"Now you see (general manager Daryl) Morey talking about it with the Rockets, them trying to team up and do whatever they can to become - what'd he say the other day, that he's a 10 of 10 on obsessed with beating the Warriors?"

James, though, didn't offer much optimism from the postgame podium late Sunday, when he was asked if he could draw inspiration from Cleveland's ability to overturn deficits of 2-0 this year and 3-1 in the 2016 finals.
