Metal Wolf Chaos XD, a lost From Software classic from 2004, is getting a remaster

"FromSoftware originally released Metal Wolf Chaos in December 2004, appearing exclusively on the original Xbox and only in Japan", Devolver clarifies.

Perhaps best of all though, Metal Wolf Chaos XD - due on PS4, Xbox One and PC - is due out this year. Take a look at the first teaser below.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice isn't the only new From Software game announced at E3 2018: Devolver Digital has announced it will also publish a game by the Dark Souls studio. It was an Xbox exclusive and released only in Japan despite being fully in English.

You play as 47th President of the United States Michael Wilson, who is betrayed by his painfully evil vice president and nemesis Richard Hawk. Battle in your advanced mech - armed to the teeth - across iconic American landscapes including the Brooklyn Bridge, the Grand Canyon, and the front steps of the White House. If you're unfamiliar with the insanity of one of From Software's most insane hits, just look up a video and get excited. The game centers around a comically fictionalized version of the state of United States, and has the President defending the country from threat in a very big mech-suit dubbed "Metal Wolf". The game will feature updated visuals, refined gameplay, and support for 16:9 4K in this incredibly hard-to-forget journey.
