So it's particularly amusing that, when a TV host accidentally refers to Kim Jong-un and Trump as a pair of dictators, that TV host happens to be one from Fox News.

"I feel that Kim Jong Un wants to do something great for his people, and he has that opportunity". "Regardless of what happens in that meeting between the two dictators".

Abby Huntsman apologised for her remarks, stating: "We all have slip ups in life". The former White House communications director stated that Trump was a "disruptive risk-taker" who is willing to "break what would be the usual bonds of not going to a meeting like this".

The "Fox and Friends" presenter apologised to viewers after referring to the leaders as "two dictators" ahead of their historic meeting in Singapore Tuesday.

Although her guests did not catch her gaffe instantly, Huntsman was called out on social media after the footage was released on Sunday.

Fox News anchor Abby Huntsman became the centre of a "yuge" controversy after she called US President Donald Trump, a "dictator" on live TV. I did not mean that, my mistake.

Another person chimed in, writing, "We wouldn't be human if we were 'perfect'". Some Twitter users described the moment as a "Freudian slip".

President Trump is set to meet Kim Jong-un for the first time at their summit on Tuesday on the resort island of Sentosa. "My mistake, so I apologize for that", she said.
