According to court documents obtained by Us, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County determined that "not having a relationship with their father" would be "harmful" to Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 9. Additionally, Jolie is allegedly barred from being present or interfering with Pitt's time with the kids in person.

In an attempt to further improve access, the court has ordered Jolie to give Pitt the mobile phone numbers of each child so he can call them anytime.

The former couple have been battling back and forth about where their six children will reside over the summer - Angelina fighting for them to travel with her to Europe and stay with her while she films Maleficent 2 and Brad wanting them to stay in Los Angeles where he can see them regularly.

If the children "remain closed down" to their father, the time they spend with their mother could be cut, the judge said in the court documents. News. 'Brad will be filming in LA for the summer and wants to see the kids on his regular custody schedule. The schedule involves each child except for Maddox, who is being allowed to make his own choices because he is older.

From the documents cited by The Blast, it appears that the actress, director and humanitarian is not cooperating as much as she should in allowing Pitt to spend time with their kids this summer or in letting them have cell phone and text message contact with him that she's not monitoring. He will then again have custody of the children for 10 hours per day from 27 June to 1 July.

The court stated that if Jolie fails to comply to the new terms then she risks losing primary custody.


Pitt was cleared of allegations of child abuse by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services in November 2016.

In the spirit of strengthening the relationship with Pitt, the court has laid out a summer schedule for the children, minus Maddox, to spend time with the actor over the summer.

Brad Pitt, Jolie and their family arrive in Japan in November 2011. He is responsible for returning them back to Jolie in London on July 29, and, he must pay for their transportation. During these days, Jolie is allowed to call the kids only one time per day at a time agreed on in advance by both parents.

In some ways, the globe-trotting Jolie has come to resent Pitt for "essentially forcing her to settle down in Los Angeles with the kids", Us Weekly reported in May.

Jolie and Pitt split in 2016 amid allegations of child abuse against Pitt during an incident aboard a private plane.
