Final Fantasy VII Remake Has Composer Nobuo Uematsu On Board

Final Fantasy VII Remake Has Composer Nobuo Uematsu On Board

Thanks to a job posting on Nexon, the Final Fantasy XI mobile reboot has gotten a few new screenshots that'll leave fans excited for the mobile release hungry for more.

Fans who have been eagerly anticipating the FF7 Remake, however, may be disappointed with the release date. However, more information on the scope of Uematsu's role should come to light as we near the game's release.

On the Lifestream forums, a member who goes by the handle "hian" uploaded the translation of a recording of a behind-closed-doors conversation between Kitase and Hamaguchi, along with Square Enix character designer Tetsuya Nomura. Not episodes like The Council, parts like the three Final Fantasy XIII games.

In addition to the above, Kitase had noted that he's now working on the production of Final Fantasy VII Remake and that it was since Final Fantasy X that he directly worked with Uematsu.

Locke doesn't have a release date yet, but we assume that he can't be far off. In it, Kitase and Hamaguchi state they'd like to launch Final Fantasy VII Remake by the game's 35th anniversary in 2023. Although, seems like the producer has convinced the composer to work his magic on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Nonetheless, we are willing to give the reboot a chance and are eager to see if the mobile game will provide us with that Final Fantasy goodness, or will leave us running to our nearest copy of our favorite Final Fantasy game and sobbing loudly into it. We may still have to wait for some time before this game rolls out.
