The Crew 2 will release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on June 29th, 2018.

The Crew 2 will be launching next month, so Ubisoft is giving players a chance to try out the game early with a closed beta. Lucky beta invitees will also be able to invite "up to 3 of their Ubisoft friends to participate in the Closed Beta through the Beta portal".

During the closed beta, players will experience the first level of the progression system as they compete in races across all first four disciplines - Street Race, Rally Raid, Powerboat and Aerobatics - against the backdrop of a fully redesigned U.S., via land, water and air.

During the closed beta, players can try the first level of the progression system as they compete in races across all first four disciplines - Street Race, Rally Raid, Powerboat and Aerobatics. Like the first game, Ubisoft has created a scale replica of the United States dubbed Motornation. It's unclear how much of the map will be open for beta players, but at least all of the vehicle types will be in play.

You can sign up for access on your platform of choice via the official website, and it looks like us PC players will need to hop in via Uplay when the time comes. The Crew 2's success as an arcade racer hinges on its ability to offer Fast and Furious-style moments. The original game was hamstrung by technical difficulties.
