Cardi B deletes Instagram after row with Azealia

Still, there are folks who visibly cringe every time she utters "Eee-yoowwwww" and the now-SNL appropriated "Okkkurrr!"

Asked to explain herself during an interview with US radio show The Breakfast Club, Banks referenced Beyoncé's 2016 album Lemonade, which Banks claimed had marked an "all-time high" in the "conversation surrounding black women's culture". I've never seen that at the forefront of rap. "I'm not trying to represent nobody but myself".

It's not clear if Cardi B will ever rejoin Instagram, but at least her Twitter is still... I speak how I speak I am how I am. I did not choose to be famous - people choose me. "You think your advocating for women and your doing the opposite!" she wrote.

Azealia Banks, 26, appears to have just pulled a page out of a philosophy book with her latest response to Cardi B, 25.

Cardi B also references Banks' own past with skin bleaching, arguing that the rapper takes her own issues with race out by "taking joy in belittling over black women", referencing previous feuds with Beyoncé, Remy Ma and Rihanna.

In a conversation with hosts Charlamagne the God and DJ Envy, the Harlem-born rapper discussed Cardi's position as a woman in hip-hop, dubbing her an "illiterate, untalented rat" and "a caricature of a black woman". She gives a brief overview of the 22nd Amendment.

"If my spelling and grammar was that bad, I would be canceled", Banks pointed out. "And because I laugh a little harder or talk a little louder doesn't make me a caricature!" she said in the now deleted post.

She concluded: "I hope you find your peace in your own heart and reason in your own mind".

Perhaps Cardi wants to stay out of all the negativity from social media for the sake of her upcoming child. "Pray for your own success before you pray for the downfall of others!"
