The smartphone has been confirmed to be launched on May 16 and some its specifications had already been revealed when the device was certified. However, as per earlier reports, the Nokia X6 was expected to arrive with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

Nokia X6, in its standard version (Mediatek with 4 GB RAM), will cost 1499 yuan, which equals to about $237.

The Nokia X6 listing on the Suning website also includes several renders of the smartphone, showing its design from multiple angles.

Nokia X6 will come with a sturdy unibody built on the out.


The fingerprint sensor will be placed at the rear side of the smartphone.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a full-HD display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. Nokia X6 has a screen aspect ratio of 19:9 with a notch at the top.

As mentioned, the Nokia X6 was also spotted on Geekbench, and the listing reveals that the smartphone packs an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor, 6GB of RAM, and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It will include an internal storage of 64GB, and is upgradable via a microSD card slot up to 128GB. Up front, the smartphone will sport a 16-megapixel sensor. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C.

The battery in the Nokia X6 has a capacity of 3,060 mAh and comes with Quick Charge 3.0, that allegedly delivers a 50% top up in 30 minutes. The pricing details of the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM are yet to be revealed, but what is sure so far is that these models are definitely going to be slightly more expensive than the 3GB variant. The pricing of the handset was first rumoured to start at CNY 1,600 (roughly Rs. 16,900).
