Styles originally said he'd be moving in for just a couple of weeks, with a house he wanted to move into nearby needing some work before he started living there, according to a Rolling Stone interview with Winston past year.

"Two weeks later and he hadn't bought his house yet".

And Stevens West said: "This is his story, and even though we're not telling it exactly as it happened, people are going to ask questions - like, 'Did this really happen to you?' So he's going to care about the stories that we're telling".

"Those 20 months were when they went from being on a reality show, X Factor, to being the biggest-selling artists in the world", he said.

That's the basic storyline of Happy Together, a sitcom coming to CBS in the fall that will be executive produced by aforementioned heartthrob, Harry Styles, and Ben Winston, the Late Late Show exec producer who let Styles sleep on his couch during the One Direction singer's rocket rise to pop stardom.

Ben will be executive producing the show with Harry because obviously, they've both got their own stories about the housing situation to tell.

"Happy Together" is set to premiere on US TV network CBS later this year, starring Felix Mallard as a Styles-like pop star who moves in with a suburban married couple, played by Damon Wayans Jr and Amber Stevens. "And when he moved out, we were gutted".

"Happy Together" was announced as part of CBS's 2018-2019 primetime line-up reveal on Wednesday (May 16th).
