Cabot Phillips of the conservative news site Campus Reform interviewed a few students on UCSC's campus and found that although some could not explain why Obama received a Nobel Prize so early in his presidency, they had no reservations about explaining why Trump should not receive the award.

All signed a letter to that effect, which was sent to Berit Reiss-Andersen, chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, praising President Trump's historic progress in achieving peace on the Korean Peninsula.

McMaster was an early Trump supporter in the 2016 election, formally backing him ahead of South Carolina's first-in-the-south primary.

In addition to McMaster, the letter was signed by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, Guam Gov. Eddie Baza Calvo, Kansas Gov. Jeff Colyer, Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, Maine Gov. Paul LePage and West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice.

Led by Governor McMaster of SC, the letter praised the President's push towards the full denuclearization of the Korean peninsula; saying his administration is clearing the path towards the end of the 68-year-long Korean War.

Further, Kim Jong Un agreed to return three American hostages, stop missile testing and may be willing to give up North Korea's nuclear weapons - all because of Trump's strong-willed, forceful diplomacy toward North Korea. "There is no one more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize".
