AWS partners with Consen Sys to drive seamless adoption of blockchain among enterprises

While Amazon has not yet made any movements that hint toward an Amazon-only blockchain solution, the massive presence of the company within sectors that are now being heavily disrupted by the blockchain - such as supply chain - make it highly likely that the tech juggernaut will adopt blockchain technology wholesale in the future. "We give them a simple platform to build their company on the blockchain", Steve Cerveny, one of the founders of Kaleido, told CNBC. Because of this, the promise of blockchain technology for many is still out of reach due to the lack of readily available solutions in the market.

However, in a statement by AWS, it was declared that "introducing Kaleido to AWS customers is going to help customers move faster and not worry about managing blockchain themselves".

Blockchain projects by ConsenSys seem to be gaining traction in India as well. Kaleido takes the prerequisite of deep blockchain knowledge out of the hands of users.

More recently, AWS announced a new service this past April to provide out-of-the-box blockchain networks based on the Ethereum network and Hyperledger Fabric protocol.

Partner of the Year: Powerupcloud Technologies India Private Limited has won the award for its marquee wins across the industry, achieving Premier Consulting Partner status, and for competencies in the Big Data and DevOps space. Verizon is migrating over 1,000 business-critical applications and database backend systems to AWS, several of which also include the migration of production databases to Amazon Aurora-AWS's relational database engine that combines the speed and availability of high-end commercial databases with the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of open source databases. "These private networks offer all the benefits of the underlying blockchain technology, while maintaining the necessary levels of security and performance", wrote Ale Flores, Senior Product Manager at AWS, in a blog post.

Kaleido is the first platform that allows you to anchor your chain to the mainnet and indelibly store your state on the public blockchain. "At this point there are tens of thousands of companies around the world that have real sophistication around this".

ConsenSys said that Kaleido streamlines the process of setting up secure, permissioned blockchain networks without sacrificing the ability to customise the environment.

Kaleido is a blockchain business cloud, and enterprise is in its DNA.

Why do we need a platform like Kaliedo?
