All aboard the deportation bus! Georgia governor candidate launches campaign tour

Republican Running for Governor Really Wants to Deport People With a Bus

Michael Williams is hitting the campaign trail in a bus. On Tuesday, Williams announced his upcoming "Deportation Bus Tour", which he bragged will involve rounding up undocumented immigrants in a large bus labeled "Murderers, rapists, kidnappers, child molestors [sic], and other criminals on board".

"We're not just going to track them and watch them roam around the state", Williams said. "We're gonna put 'em on this bus and send 'em home". The way it works, according to ICE, is that local or state law enforcement "enter into a partnership with ICE, under a joint Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), in order to receive delegated authority for immigration enforcement within their jurisdictions".

He is the most outspoken anti-illegal candidate in Georgia's history.

As attacks on the immigrant community persist, a Republican candidate in Georgia's gubernatorial race is the latest to use his platform to spread hate and misinformation about a vulnerable group.

However, since the beginning of the year, the Georgia Senate has approved measures to facilitate deportation procedures through the SB 452, which "would require local law enforcement and court officials in Georgia report to USA immigration enforcement if they learn a suspect is in the country illegally", according to wabe.org.

Throughout his bus tour of sanctuary cities, Williams will expose how risky illegal aliens ruin local economies, cost American jobs, increase healthcare costs, and lower education standards.

"If we can implement that across the state of Georgia ... that will get out people that are in this country illegally, illegal aliens, they will not want to come to Georgia".

The state senator's campaign goes on to attack one of his primary opponents, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, for his "failed leadership" concerning "illegal immigration".

His campaign published a video saying this tour would not "be one of those pansy political bus tours".

The Deportation Bus Tour is not Williams' first time in the spotlight.
