Tyler Wilkin, 23, of Holton, Michigan, faces a felony count of criminal sexual assault, according to the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

The court relied on the testimony of the victim, who said her mother had taken her to the convict's house in north-west Delhi for treatment of her backache through witchcraft but, instead, he inappropriately touched her private parts after sending her mother out to bring lemons for treatment. The information will also be entered in a national database to track violent offenders.

The group of five went out drinking Saturday night and Wilkin and others bought the woman drinks and she became intoxicated, prosecutors said.

The incident was said to have taken place around 10 pm on Saturday near the lookout at Lady Young Road.

Third-party reporting allows a survivor to report the assault to a community agency, which will then pass the report along to Winnipeg police or RCMP.

Relationships are the key to getting people to tell their stories, she said, and third-party reporting helps form those relationships.

Victims are now able to contact Klinic Community Health Centre, Sage House or Heart Medicine Lodge in Winnipeg to make a report. With the #MeToo and Time's Up movements, there has been an increase, she said.

Leoncio Sacramento-Benitez, 39, of the unit block of York Road, was arrested February 1 and charged with 10 counts each of rape, sexual assault, terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple assault and harassment.
