If Wilder offered me the deal I'm going to offer him - to come and fight for four belts, with a great rematch clause and a great up-front clause - I would grab that with both hands.

Despite this, Joshua still hunts for the major world title, with WBC champion Deontay Wilder the only other remaining belt holder who Tyson believes is improving.

The victor of a Joshua-Wilder fight would be the first man to hold all four major heavyweight titles simultaneously.

Fury, 29, has not fought since he defeated Wladimir Klitschko to win the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles in 2015.

Joshua, who has been taunted by Wilder before and after his unification bout with Joseph Parker, March 31, said he will be happy to fight Wilder in the United Kingdom and then stage a rematch in the US.

"But I do want to hold onto all the belts, because I want the opportunity to become undisputed heavyweight champion". According to the Telegraph, that offer is not a purse split, but rather a flat fee of £8.8 million ($12.5 million) with no further details such as when and where the fight could take place.

In what would effectively be a fee for Wilder and a huge payday for Joshua, the two teams will discuss a 50/50 split for a second contest between the pair, regardless of whether Joshua loses.

When asked about facing the Russian, Joshua said: "I'm not really interested in Povetkin, I'm interested in Wilder".

Finkel told The Telegraph: "It was a take-it-or-leave-it offer".

Per Davies report, Joshua and Eddie Hearn have sent a contract to Wilder and his team, but nowhere in the agreement does it mention when or where the fight would take place, or even if Wilder is Joshua's next opponent.

"We will respond appropriately in the next day or so with our counter offer". If Joshua is serious, we will take the fight. I don't think we'll see a drawn-out negotiation because I see two fighters anxious to stage a worldwide mega-fight.
