The video also reveals the OnePlus 6 will be an Amazon Prime exclusive, but that's just for India, where the teaser aired. As mentioned earlier, this may not really surprise fans of the brand who know that the initial batch of OnePlus devices is always made available via Amazon. Seeing how OnePlus advertises its phones as "flagship killers", it would be smart for the company to match those ratings with the OnePlus 6.

Powering the new OnePlus 6 will be the all-new octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm, which will be paired with an Adreno 630 graphics processing unit (GPU).

If you hate the notch, the OnePlus 6 will feature a compatibility mode that will let you black out the sides of the notch when in landscape mode while using apps. In terms of memory specs, the device will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options, with 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants. The report also adds that the OnePlus 6 will have a slightly bigger 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.

From this coy message, it's safe to assume that OnePlus 6 owners won't have to worry about soaking wet weather conditions like they did with the vulnerable OnePlus 5T. They also highlight the bokeh effect that it can place in photos.

Mobile photography is one of the rare few segments in which previous OnePlus products were arguably lagging behind their flagship peers, with the Chinese original equipment manufacturer also having a seemingly unclear strategy on how to improve that aspect of its offerings. The camera are placed in vertical setting just like the OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau posted some new OnePlus 6 camera samples to his Weibo account which is the Chinese equivalent of Twitter. As for your selfies, the OnePlus 6 features a 20MP f/2.0 front camera which will take care of that.
