Dwight Howard recorded his 48th double-double (22 points, 13 rebounds) of the season and Malik Monk came off the bench to lead Charlotte's reserves with 17 points but the Hornets could not match the Wizards three-point barrage or make up for their 17 turnovers leading to 21 opposing points in a 107-93 loss on Saturday in Washington.

Wall's return comes not a moment too soon. As for the big return, John Wall would finish with 15 points and 14 assists in 33 minutes of action. "He had eight assists, but if you look at the passes he made where we missed shots, he could have had even more".

Though Wall was not on a minutes restriction during Saturday's victory, coach Scott Brooks will still opt to play things safe, holding Wall out on the second half of a back-to-back set.

Unfortunately for Washington, forward Otto Porter left Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons with a painful-looking ankle injury. Eastern Conference and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. Porter, who didn't practice Friday, is questionable for Saturday.

Andre Drummond's haul of 24 points and 23 rebounds helped the Detroit Pistons to their fifth win in six after getting the better of the Washington Wizards. "I think we're ready".

"It's exciting to have John back", said Brooks. "It's going to be nice to get the Ferrari back".

Wall said earlier this week he's ready to go, just waiting for the official clearance from team doctors. "I wanted them to be the ones".

The score was tied 49-49 with 4:19 remaining in the second quarter, but Cleveland went on a 15-5 run and Charlotte didn't get within single digits again until late in the game and then only briefly.
