Anthony's comments come after an 18-rebound performance by Westbrook on Monday against the Miami Heat.

On Tuesday, Thunder forward Carmelo Anthony clarified to the National Basketball Association world that although Westbrook may steal rebounds, the team is "cool with that".

Miami's lead was down to three by halftime, and Oklahoma City tied the game twice in the third quarter - only to have the Heat immediately answer with bursts, first an 8-0 spurt after the initial tie, then a 5-0 run to take an 81-76 lead into the fourth.

Russell Westbrook recorded his 25th triple-double of the season, finishing with 23 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists, while Paul George led the way with 27 points. The Cavaliers pulled a half-game back of Philadelphia for the No. 3 spot in the Eastern Conference, winning for the sixth time in seven games.

Now we'll see if they can race to the finish line.

"It's what we wanted". As long as we get the rebound I don't think we're anxious [about him stealing rebounds]. The Thunder need to win their two remaining games to be certain of playing in the postseason.

The Spurs advanced after strong performances off the bench, with Manu Ginobili chipping in with 17 points and Rudy Gay 18 points.

Cavaliers 123, Knicks 109: LeBron James had 26 points and 11 assists, Kevin Love scored 28 points, and visiting Cleveland got its 50th win and another Central Division title by beating NY.

Josh Richardson scored 18 points and Hassan Whiteside added 16 for the Heat, whose playoff seed won't be decided until the season-finales Wednesday. They won the season series 3-1. He's scoring a career-low 16.3 points per game, the first time in his 15 career seasons that he's failed to average at least 20.

"Anytime when you have a guard like that who can come back and rebound the way that he does, cause we want to push the break, and when he gets it off the rebound he's able to jump start the break and a lot of good things happen from that".

"It just felt like we moved the ball a little bit better".

"When he went down, everybody on the team just picked it up", Davis said.
