For those are unfamiliar, Selection Sunday is the day the selection committee unveils the 68 teams who will play in the NCAA Tournament.

Every season, the case is made for a mid-major team to beat out a middle-of-the-run squad from a power conference.

On Monday, March 12, head coach Sue Semrau and company will host its NCAA Selection Show Watch Party at the Dunlap Champions Club, the first time women's basketball is hosting its watch party at the new venue. In the next round, Alabama plays Auburn, where I think win or loss Alabama is a tournament team.

The brackets are scheduled to be announced Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, after the American Athletic final between Houston and Cincinnati wraps up conference tournament season. Despite an upset loss to Penn State in last week's conference tournament, the Buckeyes are firmly in the field of 68.

Florida State Athletics Tickets representatives will also be on hand at the NCAA Selection Show Watch Party to take orders for interest attendees.

In keeping with past years, Selection Sunday features a partnership between Turner Sports' Inside the NBA crew and CBS Sports college basketball analysts.

"I don't know if we could have done any better", Schmidt said about building the Bonnies' resume. The avidity for the actual tournament is still there, but casual fans don't necessarily need a long reveal show in this day and age. "We kind of just went from there". Nevada and St. Mary's have two Quadrant 1 wins apiece, but Nevada has an RPI of 16 and five Quadrant 2 victories, which should be enough for them to get in. The Aztecs throttled Big Dance lock Nevada by a score of 90-73 in the Mountain West Tournament semifinals.

The Big Ten Tournament trophy will be on display.
