Microsoft is planning to launch its new Xbox Live Avatars next month. And yet that is exactly what it is promising: E3 2018 will be Microsoft's "biggest showing ever", the firm claims.

Microsoft is nearly ready to unleash the new, revamped Xbox avatars on gamers across the world, according to reports on Wednesday. Should one rumor in particular be accurate, though, then Microsoft has some huge news in store for some of its most noteworthy franchises including, but not limited to Fable, Forza, and Halo.

What are you hoping for with Microsoft's new avatars? With its new avatars, Microsoft is also making an effort on the diversity front, with the feature's trailer showing off an amputee and an avatar in a wheelchair. Since their first appearance at E3 in 2000, Xbox has been showcasing the potentials of their console system.

Originally planned to hit Windows 10 before the end of past year, the avatars will become available for Xbox Insider preview members this month.

These new, more diverse Xbox One avatars are created to replace the ones that launched alongside the Xbox 360 back in 2008. An Xbox E3 2018 Briefing will start on June 10th. The company will host their E3 2018 events at their own-branded Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, right across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) where the main E3 event is occurring. The software giant first unveiled the redesigned avatars at E3 past year, and originally planned to provide them to Windows 10 users by the end of 2017.

Although Microsoft will be dedicating most of its resources to the Microsoft Theater for E3 2018, the company assures fans it will maintain a "meaningful presence" at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the duration of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
