Little Caesars Has To Give Away A Lot Of Free Pizza After UMBC's Massive Upset Of Virginia In NCAA Tournament

When all was said and done, the biggest upset in March Madness history happened and it is going to cost Little Caesars Pizza.

Little Caesars will make good on their offer on Monday, April 2 between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Then, on Friday night, the University of Maryland Baltimore County bested University of Virginia in a shock upset.

The dolling out of free pizza doesn't come without limits, however.

Little Caesars on Thursday vowed to give away free lunch combos on April 2, "if insane happens". It was the first time a 16 seed ever defeated a 1 seed. There's only one free lunch box per order, so it will be best to order individually.

Little Caesars is under no obligation to give away the free HOT-N-READY LUNCH COMBO unless a #16 seed beats a #1 seed on March 15, 2018 or March 16, 2018 in the men's college basketball tournament.

There is even a Little Caesars location in Charlottesville, Va., so that's a silver lining for Cavaliers fans, right?

The lunch combo comes with four slices of pizza that adds up to about the size of a normal personal pizza and a 20 ounce drink. Pepsi-Cola product. That's not a bad deal anywhere because you really can't beat something for free.
