This Isn't The First Time

Aamir Khan made his debut on the popular photo-sharing networking site with his first post being the picture of his mother.

On the occasion of his 53rd birthday, Aamir returned back to Mumbai from the sets of Thugs of Hindostan. "I posted my mother's picture on my birthday because she brought me to life and that's very special to me".

"The recent past has been a testimony of the mass hysteria Aamir Khan and his work generates not just in India but the world over too". Reports are that now Aamir Khan will also make his Instagram account, whether he is already available on Twitter and Facebook account. And he wants to keep it something very personal, very close to his heart. "Aamir is devoted to his mother and believes that everything he is today, is because of his mother".

Aamir Khan celebrated his birthday with media persons. However, what he did know was that as soon as he would join the social media community he will be followed by a whopping number of 269k followers! Three years ago, Aamir had tweeted dismissing a fake Instagram account operating in his name. We hope that this time around the reports that we're getting to hear do turn out to be true. The "Thugs of Hindostan" star, who now enjoys a massive social media following through Facebook and Twitter, on Tuesday, joined the Instagram family. He strategises it such that the film not only maximises its profits, but also breaks records left, right and centre.

The movie, being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, also features Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
