Xiaomi Mi 7 Specifications Leaked

Xiaomi Mi 7

The outline image of Mi MIX 2S suggests that it will be sporting slimmer bezels than the predecessor phone. According to this leak, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor that will be clocked at 2.8 GHz and be paired with 8 GB of RAM. Sadly, not very soon as the earlier rumors about its debut on MWC have been denied by the company. The Mi 7 was expected to launch during MWC 2018 and that may not be the case. A device with codenamed "polaris" has paid a visit to Antutu and it is believed to be the Mi Mix 2S, the successor to the Mi Mix 2. That said, if Xiaomi is indeed planning to unveil the Mi MIX 2S this month, then we can expect more information to surface online about this phone in the coming days.

However, a new leak focuses on the next "Mi" flagship device, the Mi 7. Besides, the leak suggests the smartphone to sport a dual-camera setup at the rear, with a combination of two 16-megapixel cameras.

Other than that, the Mi 7 is expected to have a 4480mAh battery, and it might support wireless charging as well. The photos indicate that the device will feature nearly no bezels on all the sides, and will get a small notch on the right corner of the screen, where the selfie shooter will be placed. 8GB of RAM will be inside along with 128GB of native storage. It is unknown what version of Android it will arrive with, but the screenshot does show that the handset is running the MIUI 8.1, which is the latest version of the firm's OS. Xiaomi updated 40 of its devices, including some 5-year old Mi phones to MIUI 9, so it won't make sense for Mi7 to run on an older UI version. Xiaomi and Qualcomm already confirmed their partnership earlier this year, which gives credence to the report that the Mi MIX 2S will be among the first smartphones to pack with the Snapdragon 845 chip this year.
