New Samsung DeX Pad has Multiple Ports Turn Galaxy S9 into a TouchPad

As for the phones themselves, we're expecting upgraded internals, a dual-lens camera on the back of the Plus model, better low light camera performance, even smaller bezels, and a headphone jack, though this is all yet to be confirmed by Samsung.

While all of Samsung's previous flagship releases have included the headphone jack, its inclusion in the Galaxy S9 was subject to doubts, as the upcoming phone is set to compete against the likes of the iPhone X, Google Pixel 2, and Huawei Mate 10 Pro, all of which are doing just fine without the aging hardware.

The latest leak now comes from trusted tipster Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, who has proved to be accurate countless times so far. Although several users had something to say on the social media about the DeX Pad, some eagle-eyed users spotted a feature, which can be termed as "unique" in flagship smartphones these days. The Galaxy S9, design-wise, is said to be the same as the Galaxy S8. In leaked photos, the Galaxy S9 is shown connected to the DeX Pad, with the phones headphone jack visible in its location at the bottom of the handset. According to a, the DeX Pad is already on Tessco's website. All of the ports (two USB, one HDMI, one USB Type-C) seem to be intact from the DeX Station aside from an Ethernet port, which could be on the side not photographed. Other expected specifications of the Galaxy S9 series include: Exynos 9810 processor for the global variants, including India market and the Snapdragon 845 processor for the United States market.
