Antonio Conte has urged Chelsea to be intelligent and keep faith with him as their manager, rather than be "stupid".

The Blues boss is clinging to his job after humiliating defeats to Bournemouth and Watford - and his griping over Roman Abramovich's lack of spending.

Chelsea have won just one of their five league games since the turn of the year and were also defeated in the League Cup semi-finals by Arsenal.

Pedro was Chelsea's latest injury worry after coming off injured against Watford in the 4-1 defeat last Monday but Conte has confirmed that he's recovered in time to face West Brom.

Despite winning the Premier League title previous year in his first season in charge, Conte has had a torrid time as of late, which culminated with a 4-1 defeat away to Watford in their last league fixture.

"From the start of my experience with Chelsea they try to stay behind me in every game and they continue to do this and I am happy and proud for this". For this reason, there are too many speculations around this club, around me, around this team. They show me every day they want to overcome this situation. For this reason, I'm a bit anxious.

"When you have this period with such poor results, you have to divide the responsibility between me, the players and the club".

'I think there are two ways.

Even if he survives Chelsea's current slump in form, Conte is widely expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season following months of tension with the club hierarchy about transfer policy. "I don't know how long he will be out", he said on Friday. There are a lot of rumours and speculation, despite [the fact that] we are keeping our expectations.

Here is how we think the Blues will line up against West Brom.

"I think we understand that, when you lose two games in a row, the situation is not simple".

Price also suggests Tuchel is the man they see who could finally exhibit Chelsea's youth system to its full advantage.

"We need to put some points on the board and our performance and level of play, right up to Liverpool (a 3-2 FA Cup win), was probably the best we've been", he said.

"But we are not fighting in the relegation zone!"

The defending Premier League champions allowed Serbia worldwide Nemanja Matic to move to title rivals Manchester United in a £40m deal back in August.
