Norfolk reporter Alex Dunlop was literally overwhelmed by the Banham Zoo's lemurs warm welcome.

During the short clip, the lemurs swarm all over Dunlop's body, pull on his sweater sleeves and pants, sit on his head and are generally just having a great time picking on the poor reporter who goes from laughter to pain in quick time.

They didn't make things easy for Dunlop - the playful animals captured jumping and climbing all over him, with a few even taking a gentle bite out of his fingers. "And I'm at one of the - ow, ow, you little nipper", said Dunlop.

Video footage of Alex Dunlop's encounter with the animals has gone viral and has been viewed around the world.

He added: 'Well I think this is one of the more enjoyable parts of the job: counting lemurs'.

East posted the adorable video with the caption: "You know what they say about working with animals".

And their unhelpful shenanigans were on full show when a BBC reporter was sent to file a report on eight of the chompy fuzzballs at Barnham Zoo in Norfolk in the UK.
