American comedian and talk show host David Letterman is all set to make a comeback on Netflix with his show "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman". The subject? Former President Barack Obama recalling the time Prince asked his daughter Sasha to dance on stage during a private performance.

Obama said the invitation to the dance floor surprised him "because she always mocks my dancing".

"I think the key is what we call 'staying in the pocket, '" Obama tells Letterman.

You may have heard that David Letterman is coming back and he's bringing former President Barack Obama with him. "And they're trying stuff that they can't really pull off", Obama explains.

Meanwhile, the beard - you know which one and on whom - remains long and snow-white.

Unlike his stint at "The Late Show with David Letterman", the focus of the Netflix show is to get to know the guests better in a more intimate, and personal way.

The full episode which includes Letterman's interview with Obama is scheduled to be released on Netflix on January 12. Subsequent episodes feature an influential list of guests, including Jay-Z, Tina Fey, and George Clooney. The interviews take place both inside and outside a studio setting, with Letterman traveling to "locations far and wide", according to a Netflix press release.

Netflix has billed this appearance on the inaugural episode of "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" as Obama's first talk show appearance since leaving office.
