New Orleans now sits alone atop the NFC South while the Panthers (8-4) and Falcons (7-5) trail.

They dominated Carolina in Week 3, winning 34-13.

Stop me if you've heard this one before: the Saints are running up the score on the Panthers at will.

Carolina had no answer for the two-headed rushing attack of rookie Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram, who led an offense that gained more than 400 yards. They came into that game 0-2, but used it as a springboard for an eight-game win streak.

And he has already become just the third rookie in National Football League history with more than 600 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards in a season - with four games still to play.

Until he ripped off a 32-yard run late in the fourth quarter, Newton had only 19 rushing yards on five carries.

Four plays later, Newton connected with Christian McCaffrey on a 22-yard toss on which New Orleans had a blown coverage and left the running back wide open on the wheel route. Kamara took a handoff, burst through the hole, and broke multiple tackles on his way to a smooth 20-yard touchdown run.

Then Ingram did his best impression with a 72-yard run in the second quarter, where he made Panthers safety Mike Adams miss him three times with two cutbacks and a stiff-arm. Ingram finished with 85 rushing yards, 37 receiving and one TD.

He has gone without a passing touchdown in two games this season, but the Saints won both of those games.

You simply can not say enough about how much Kamara and Ingram - and the blockers paving the way for them - have meant to New Orleans this season.

The Falcons offense couldn't push forward against the Vikings defense, and they struggled on third down only converting 1-for-10. I want to believe that Atlanta wins, but I am not completely confident they can beat this very tough Minnesota Vikings team.
